Matthias Hofer

Matthias is the CEO & Managing Partner of Stonehaven Cozmix Group and a seasoned Life Sciences executive with more than 20 years of experience leading commercial strategy, business transformation, and M&A initiatives.

Matthias held senior executive positions at Novartis Animal Health and Elanco, serving on the Global Executive Committees of both organizations. His leadership responsibilities spanned global commercial operations, corporate strategy, merger integration, and business development. At Novartis Animal Health, he served as Global Head of the Aqua Health Business and led the pre-merger integration with Elanco. Following the acquisition, he became Global Leader of Emerging Business at Elanco, where he continued to shape strategic growth initiatives across the global organisation.

Over the past decade at Stonehaven Cozmix Group, Matthias has led strategy, commercial excellence, due diligence, and transaction engagements for Private Equity investors and leading Animal Health and Life Sciences companies worldwide. He is passionate about building high-performing teams, helping clients navigate complex strategic decisions, and creating long-term value through the firm's consulting, analytics, and transaction advisory capabilities.
