Zomedica partners with VMG to expand footprint in US independent veterinary practices
Zomedica has entered a two-year strategic partnership with Veterinary Management Groups, giving it preferred-provider access to a network of more than 2,400 independent US veterinary practices. The agreement covers technologies across diagnostics, therapeutics and patient monitoring, expanding Zomedica’s reach within the independent veterinary sector.
Zomedica has entered a two-year strategic partnership with Veterinary Management Groups (VMG), expanding the animal health company’s commercial reach across one of the largest networks of independent veterinary practices in the US.
The agreement, which runs from September 2026 through August 2028, establishes Zomedica as a preferred provider to VMG members. The network serves more than 2,400 independent practices and provides members with purchasing power, financial benchmarking and practice-management support.
Under the partnership, members will receive preferred access to several Zomedica technologies. These include the PulseVet shock wave therapy system, Assisi targeted pulsed electromagnetic field devices, VETIGEL hemostatic gel, the TRUFORMA point-of-care diagnostic platform and VETGuardian PLUS remote patient monitoring.
For Zomedica, the agreement provides a direct route to a substantial independent-practice customer base at a time when veterinary practice ownership continues to evolve. It also gives the company an opportunity to cross-sell a portfolio spanning diagnostics, therapeutics and monitoring rather than relying on individual product adoption.
Zomedica generated $32 million in revenue in 2025, up 17% year on year. The company estimates the combined US addressable market for its current portfolio at more than $2 billion, making broader penetration of independent veterinary practices an important part of its growth strategy.
