Virbac launches innovative mobility chews to support active dogs’ longevity
Virbac introduces URSOLYX and MOVOFLEX Soft Chews, offering new solutions to help active dogs maintain muscle and joint health for longer, amid a rising demand for preventive pet care.
Active dogs can pay a physical price for the lives they lead, and Virbac is positioning two mobility products as a practical way to help.
The company says URSOLYX Soft Chews are designed to slow age-related muscle loss in dogs by using ursolic acid, a compound derived from sage, to influence skeletal muscle activity at the cellular level. Virbac says the once-daily chew is intended to support muscle mass, strength and endurance, with benefits observed in eight weeks.
For joint and bone support, Virbac is promoting MOVOFLEX Advanced Soft Chews, which it says combine seven ingredients, including krill and hyaluronic acid, to support flexibility and mobility. The company claims improvement can be seen in as little as one week with a daily chew.
Virbac, which says it has spent more than 60 years developing animal-health products, is framing both offerings around a broader shift in pet care: owners increasingly want preventive solutions that help dogs stay active for longer, rather than waiting for mobility problems to become obvious.
The company also cites clinical evidence behind its joint supplement line, including a study of more than 500 dogs in which 70% showed positive changes after 28 days. As ever, the right approach depends on the animal’s age, workload and veterinary guidance.
