United Animal Health appoints Brett Kaysen to spearhead domestic sales expansion in animal health sector
United Animal Health has recruited Brett Kaysen, Ph.D., as senior vice-president of domestic sales, signalling a strategic push into swine, poultry, and dairy markets amid leadership restructuring.
United Animal Health has brought Brett Kaysen, Ph.D., into its senior leadership team as senior vice-president of domestic sales, a move that underlines the company’s push across swine, poultry and dairy.
The appointment gives the animal nutrition and health group a leader with experience spanning commercial sales, producer relations and academic work. In a statement, interim chief executive Trent Torrance said Kaysen combines “industry credibility” with scientific expertise and producer trust, qualities the company sees as central to its growth plans.
Kaysen joins from the National Pork Board, where he was senior vice-president of producer and state engagement and worked on efforts to strengthen value and confidence across the US pork sector. Before that, he held senior commercial posts at Zoetis, including western regional business director for the US pork business, and earlier spent nearly two decades at Colorado State University in teaching and leadership roles.
His background also includes practical ties to livestock production: he and his family raise and show purebred hogs. Kaysen said he was drawn to United Animal Health’s focus on swine, research and producer-facing solutions.
The appointment comes as United Animal Health’s leadership structure continues to centre on commercial expansion, research and operational execution.
