Synexis partners with Patterson Veterinary to expand pathogen-control technology
Synexis has partnered with Patterson Veterinary to expand access to its continuous pathogen-control technology across US veterinary and animal-care facilities. The agreement will make the company’s DHP systems available to practices seeking additional tools to reduce airborne and surface-level microbial contamination.
Synexis has entered a strategic collaboration with Patterson Veterinary to broaden distribution of its DHP pathogen-control technology across the US animal-health sector.
The technology is designed to operate continuously in occupied environments, generating dry hydrogen peroxide from ambient humidity and oxygen to help reduce airborne and surface-level microorganisms. It is intended to complement existing cleaning and sanitation protocols rather than replace them.
Through Patterson Veterinary’s distribution network, the systems will be available to companion-animal practices, equine facilities, shelters and specialty care centres.
Synexis says its technology can target bacteria, viruses and fungi while operating continuously without disrupting normal activity within veterinary facilities. The company’s devices are certified under UL 2998 for zero ozone emissions and are regulated by the US Environmental Protection Agency.
The Patterson agreement builds on Synexis’ expansion within animal health, following distribution collaborations with Midwest Veterinary Supply and Penn Veterinary Supply earlier this year.
The partnerships reflect growing interest in environmental pathogen control as veterinary facilities look to strengthen biosecurity beyond periodic cleaning and disinfection.
