Swedencare’s ProDen PlaqueOff Crème wins Cat Dental Care Product of the Year at Pet Innovation Awards 2026

Swedencare’s new lickable Cat Dental Care Crème, made from natural seaweed, has been crowned Cat Dental Care Product of the Year at the 2026 Pet Innovation Awards, highlighting a rising trend for easy-to-use feline oral health solutions.

Swedencare said its ProDen PlaqueOff Crème has been named Cat Dental Care Product of the Year by the Pet Innovation Awards 2026, giving the Swedish pet health group another industry accolade as it broadens its feline oral-care line-up.

The company said the cream is designed as a lickable, highly palatable alternative to brushing and harder dental chews, addressing a persistent problem in cat care: compliance. According to Swedencare, the product uses its A.N ProDen ingredient, a 100% natural seaweed-based compound, which works through saliva to help reduce plaque and tartar build-up while supporting fresher breath.

Swedencare said each single-serve sachet contains 6 calories and 25% chicken protein, and that 9 in 10 cats accepted the taste in testing. The format follows a broader push into easier-to-use pet health products, as the company seeks to tap rising demand for cat oral-care solutions in Europe.

The award comes after Swedencare expanded the ProDen PlaqueOff range into new formats including powders, bites and chews. The company also notes that the product sits within a portfolio sold in about 70 countries, spanning veterinary, retail and online channels.
