Samsung launches veterinary ultrasound range with advanced imaging features for everyday clinics
Samsung Healthcare introduces a new range of veterinary ultrasound systems designed to enhance soft-tissue imaging in routine practice, combining high resolution with user-friendly features to improve diagnostic confidence across small and large animals.
Samsung’s veterinary ultrasound range is being positioned as a way to sharpen soft-tissue imaging in ordinary practice, as clinics seek more detail without sending cases elsewhere. According to Samsung Healthcare’s product material, the small-animal portfolio includes the V5, V7, V8 and R20 systems, built to support abdominal, musculoskeletal and small-parts examinations with high-resolution imaging and a user-friendly interface.
The company says its Crystal Architecture platform combines beamforming and image-processing tools such as CrystalBeam and CrystalPure, alongside S-Vue transducers, to improve clarity and consistency. On the V5, features including HQ-Vision, S-Harmonic, ShadowHDR and ClearVision are designed to reduce blur, even out image quality and improve visibility behind shadowing. Doppler tools such as MV-Flow, S-Flow and LumiFlow are intended to show slower and microvascular blood flow more clearly.
For busy practices, Samsung also highlights workflow aids such as QuickScan, QuickPreset and EzExam+, as well as BatteryAssist for mobility. The company argues that the result is not simply better pictures, but more confident interpretation, particularly in abdominal cases where symptoms such as vomiting, weight loss or pain can have several causes.
Samsung also markets large-animal configurations for equine and barn-side work, underscoring the broader push to make advanced ultrasound practical across veterinary settings.
