Phibro posts double-digit growth as Animal Health sales top $1bn
Animal Health growth and contributions from its acquired medicated feed additive portfolio helped lift full-year sales to $1.52bn, while net income more than doubled.
Phibro Animal Health reported higher sales and earnings for its 2026 financial year, supported by growth in its Animal Health business and contributions from the medicated feed additive (MFA) portfolio acquired in 2024.
Net sales for the year ended June 30 rose 17% to $1.52bn, while net income more than doubled to $99.7mn from $48.3mn a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA increased 39% to $255mn.
Animal Health remained the main growth driver, with sales rising 21% to $1.16bn. The increase included $146.1mn of incremental revenue from the acquired MFA portfolio, alongside stronger demand for legacy MFA products, nutritional specialties and vaccines. Vaccine sales increased 14%, supported by poultry products in Latin America and higher demand in Israel and Southeast Asia.
Phibro expects FY2027 sales of $1.55bn-$1.60bn and adjusted EBITDA of $258mn-$268mn, representing more moderate growth following the strong FY2026 performance. The outlook assumes minimal sales of virginiamycin in Brazil while the company awaits therapeutic indications under the country’s revised antimicrobial regulations.
Separately, Phibro plans to close its Chicago Heights manufacturing facility in summer 2027 following a review of its production network. Around 100 employees will be affected, with production transferred to other Phibro facilities and third-party manufacturers.
