Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging introduces SEEMORE, a new software combining motion correction and AI-based denoising to halve scan times and improve image clarity in standing equine MRI, potentially expanding access to advanced diagnostics.

Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging has launched SEEMORE, software it says is designed to tackle two longstanding constraints in standing equine MRI: movement and scan duration.

The system combines iNAV, a motion-correction tool that tracks limb position three times a second during acquisition, with pAIce, an AI-based denoising engine intended to preserve resolution and contrast while stripping out image noise. Hallmarq says the result is clearer imaging across the full limb, including the higher-motion regions around the fetlock, tarsus, carpus and proximal suspensory ligament.

The company says the technology can cut scan times by 50% to 75%, which would reduce the period horses spend under sedation and improve throughput for clinics. Steve Roberts, Hallmarq’s chief technology officer, said the two tools together materially alter the risk-reward calculation for imaging above the foot in standing horses, potentially widening the pool of cases considered suitable for MRI.

According to Hallmarq, existing customers already have access to SEEMORE through its Q-Care support package. The company is encouraging clinicians to reassess case selection and consider a broader range of equine patients for advanced imaging.
