ForFarmers is expanding its presence in Poland through the acquisition of feed producer STW SA via its Tasomix subsidiary. The deal strengthens its regional production footprint and supports its broader growth strategy in the Polish feed market.

ForFarmers is widening its foothold in Poland with another targeted deal. The Dutch animal feed group said the move fits its broader push to build scale in faster-growing European markets.

Via its Polish unit Tasomix, ForFarmers has agreed to buy all shares in STW SA, a feed producer in eastern Poland. Financial terms were not disclosed.

According to ForFarmers, the transaction covers STW’s feed manufacturing business and plant in Sokołów Podlaski, but not the Leszczyński family’s feed logistics and poultry farming operations. The company said STW has an established regional customer base and that the acquisition should support volume growth as well as operational efficiencies.

The deal still requires clearance from the Polish competition authority and is expected to close in early 2027. It follows a series of strategic moves by ForFarmers, which reported record 2025 results earlier this year, helped by higher volumes and improved profitability.

The acquisition also comes after ForFarmers announced a joint venture with KPS Food Group in Poland in February, underlining its ambition to deepen its position in the country’s poultry, ruminant and swine sectors. Taken together, the transactions suggest the company is using Poland as a key platform for continental expansion.
