DogPack partners with Healthy Paws to simplify pet insurance integration
DogPack teams up with Healthy Paws to embedded pet insurance into its platform, offering easier access to cover for accidents and illnesses with quick claims processing and flexible plans, reflecting a shift towards digital health management for pets.
DogPack has teamed up with Healthy Paws to embed pet insurance into its platform, in a move aimed at making cover easier for owners to buy and use.
According to the companies, the offering gives DogPack users access to accident and illness policies that include surgery, hospital care, chronic conditions, diagnostic tests and alternative treatments. Healthy Paws says claims are typically processed within two days, while policyholders can use any licensed vet in the US or Canada. The insurer also says customers can choose plans with unlimited lifetime benefits and reimbursement of up to 90 per cent.
Healthy Paws, which is part of Chubb, has been widening distribution through partnership channels as it looks to make pet insurance more accessible. Its plans also include 24/7 virtual veterinary support through Airvet, reinforcing a broader trend in the sector towards combining cover with digital care.
For DogPack, the tie-up extends its platform beyond community and pet-management tools into financial protection, reflecting growing demand among owners for simpler, app-based ways to manage animal health costs. The companies say the goal is to reduce friction in securing cover and help owners avoid delaying treatment because of cost concerns.
