DeLaval Plus introduces AI-driven dairy insights in the US to boost productivity and health
DeLaval has launched its AI-powered DeLaval Plus platform in the US, bringing herd health, reproduction and milking data into a single digital environment. Powered by its DeepBlue AI engine, the platform can identify cows at risk of conditions including mastitis and ketosis, helping dairy producers act earlier on emerging health and performance issues.
DeLaval has launched DeLaval Plus in the US, a digital platform that turns herd, equipment and milking data into alerts and recommendations for farmers and dealers. The move signals a broader shift in dairy towards AI-assisted decision-making, as producers look to lift productivity, animal health and service efficiency while reducing the burden of data overload.
According to DeLaval, the platform is powered by its DeepBlue AI engine and can flag disease risk, including mastitis and ketosis, while also supporting breeding decisions through RePro and equipment monitoring through DeLaval Alerts. The company says the system brings herd health, reproduction and milking performance into a single secure portal, with dealer tools designed to speed troubleshooting and improve hygiene and vacuum analysis.
The launch follows the rollout of DeLaval Plus in Canada and comes as the Swedish group continues to widen its biosensors range. In May, DeLaval said it would add Milk Solids Analysis to its VMS V300 robot, using near-infrared spectroscopy to measure fat, protein and lactose during milking without manual sampling, a sign that real-time farm intelligence is becoming a core battleground in dairy technology.
