Ceva Animal Health UK has named Tom Hill as swine veterinary services manager for the UK and Ireland, aiming to strengthen its support for pig producers facing ongoing health and biosecurity challenges.

Ceva Animal Health has named Tom Hill as swine veterinary services manager for the UK and Ireland, a role he will take up on 16 September.

Hill joins from the George Veterinary Group Pig Team, where he was clinical director and a practising veterinary surgeon. According to the group’s website, his background spans pig health, lung scoring, disease control, biosecurity and producer support.

The appointment comes as Ceva continues to expand its veterinary and technical leadership. In recent months, the company has also announced senior changes at group level, including the promotion of Sébastien Huron to deputy chief executive officer and the appointment of Ian Tarpey to lead global innovation and research and development. Ceva has also outlined wider strategic moves, including the launch of a new global headquarters in Libourne and a joint venture in Japan with Mitsui & Co.

In a statement, Ceva said it was “excited” to welcome Hill, adding that his expertise and “fresh perspective” would support vets and producers with health and management solutions.
