Arthur Redpath

Data & Insights Senior Leader

Arthur Redpath is a native of Scotland and graduated from the Edinburgh University Royal Dick Veterinary College in 1987.  Before entering the pharmaceutical industry, he worked in veterinary practice and in the cattle genetics industry.

In the year 2000, Arthur joined Novartis Animal Health. In the period to 2015 he held a number of commercial and veterinary technical leadership positions.  His global leadership roles include being Head of Marketing for the Cattle & Sheep and Category Head of the Companion Animal Parasiticides businesses.

In 2015 he transition to Elanco Animal Health in the acquisition of Novartis Animal Health. Within Elanco, Arthur was Chief Marketing Officer for the EMEA region  and then Global Marketing Excellence Leader. 

His dedication to professional growth is underscored by his possession of the MCIM credential from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) and membership of the Society for Veterinary Epidemiology & Preventive Medicine.

In 2019 Arthur joined Stonehaven Consulting with responsibility for data building and market insight building.  Currently he is part of the SC Group Data and Analytics team based in Switzerland.

Ralph Heuser

Senior Advisor

Ralph boasts an impressive career spanning over 25 years in global animal and human health industries. His journey has been marked by extensive international executive experience, during which he developed, grew and integrated complex multinational commercial organizations.

Ralph started his professional career in 1994 at Pfizer, where he assumed the role of Key Account Manager for feed additives. 1996 he  was appointed Senior Product Manager for livestock vaccines at Boehringer Ingelheim, and subsequently, in 1999 he joined Novartis Consumer Health in Germany as Head of Marketing & Sales for Medical Nutrition. His tenure took him to become General Manager for the Novartis Animal Health Division in Central Europe and Australia/New Zealand from 2003 to 2012 with exceptional and industry-leading growth in revenues and profitability. Continuing his trajectory in Novartis between 2012-2014, Ralph took over Global Sales Excellence and later the EMEA region in commercial operations.

In 2015 he was appointed Vice President Asia Pacific for Eli Lilly / Elanco with P&L responsibility for all regions and countries including India, ASEAN, Japan, China and Australia New Zealand based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In 2017 he moved to Basel in Switzerland leading Elanco’s EMEA region plus all Swiss site operations and legal entities – also supporting Elanco’s IPO in 2018 at NYSE, USA.

His last assignment in Elanco started in 2019 as Vice President of Commercial Operations for Elanco International, followed by the role of Vice President Global Commercial Integration, where he steered the integration of approximately 2,000 sales and marketing employees from Bayer Animal Health into Elanco.

From 2022 onwards he become Partner and Senior Advisor at Stonehaven Consulting AG and SC Group. 

Ralph's proven track record spans through commercial strategy and operations, sales force optimization, and orchestrating complex commercial integrations on global, regional and local levels. He combines senior executive level leadership experience with a passion for people and commercial excellence.

George Gunn

Chairman

George Gunn retired from his role on the Executive Committee of Novartis AG during 2015. He has previously held leadership roles in Johnson and Johnson and Pharmacia and prior to his thirty-two years in the Pharmaceutical Industry he worked for nine years as a veterinarian having graduated from the Royal Dick School of Veterinary Studies in 1973.

He is a native of the Shetland Islands (Scotland) and has lived and worked in Europe and the USA.

During his career he has held a number of leadership positions in Industry Associations and in 2008 he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the University of Edinburgh.

Before stepping into her role at SC Group, Rachel's academic journey led her to the University of Cambridge, where she successfully completed her research-based MPhil in Biological Science. Tom joined SC Group as a Senior Consultant in September 2023. He has experience across asset management and strategy consultancy, where he has particular expertise in CDD and M&A.

Tom worked formerly in the asset management industry as an equity analyst covering several sectors including Healthcare and MedTech. His experience in strategy consulting spans a variety of project types including M&A advisory, CDD and resource optimizations'. Tom has acted for Fortune Global 500 companies and leading private equity funds across a variety of industries and geographies. He served on the executive committees of two major Animal Health companies for a total of 7 years. Between 2009 and 2013 he led the global Aqua Health business at Novartis Animal Health, followed by roles in corporate strategy and merger integration. Later, he was global leader emerging business at Elanco and a member of Elanco’s global executive committee. Since 2016, he has been with Stonehaven, where he led numerous strategy & Due Diligence projects across Animal Health and Human MedTech industries, both for Private Equity – & industry clients.
